How does ticket sales work on Movintix?

Register New Account

You need to create an 'Event Organizer' account if you want to sell tickets for your event(s) on Movintix. Click LOGIN at the home page, then click "or do you want to sign up?", then insert your email, name, and password. An account activation link will be sent to your email. Please click and attempt to LOGIN.

Login My Account

Click LOGIN at the home page and insert your email and password.

Forgot Password

Click LOGIN and then "forgot your password?". You'll receive an email with a password reset link.

Complete Profile

Before you create an event and start selling tickets, you must first complete your Event Organizer profile.

Create Event

After you complete your profile, you will be able to create events and their settings, including ticket settings. After you complete the settings, it must be submitted for admin approval (this can take upto 3 working days). If your event is approved, you will receive an email and your event will appear on the Movintix home page.

Edit Event

Once your event has been submitted for admin approval it can no longer be editted. Make sure you finalize all settings before you submit your event for admin approval.

Tracking and Receiving Your Revenue

As an event organizer you can track your sales real time via your account, and request your ticket funds online. The features are all accessible on the side tab of your account. It's easy and hassle free!

Movintix Service Fee

The Movintix service fee is only Rp5.000 per ticket deducted from the sold ticket price. It's the cheapest ticketing service fee you will find offering easy online features.

Ticket Delivery

Movintix will send the e-ticket(s) directly to the buyers email automatically following every successful payment.

Validation

Every e-ticket is equipped with a unique QR code that can be scanned only with the Movintix QRScan App. Event Organizers may use this app to scan tickets at the venue entrance. To borrow the app, please email us to info@movintix.com.

Ticket Exchange to Other Forms

The Event Organizer may conduct ticket exchanges to other forms such as wristbands, cards, etcetera at own expense and management. If so, the Event Organizer is responsible to make sure the buyers are well informed.

How to Buy

You don't need to register or log in to buy tickets. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Access movintix.com and select the event you wish to attend.
  2. Choose the schedule, ticket class, and quantity or seat section then seats (if the event uses the seat selection feature), then fill in the buyer's data.
  3. Make the payment according to instructions.
  4. Receive your E-tickets via email.

Payment Methods

The payment methods available are bank transfer and card payment (available soon).

Transaction Fee

A transaction fee of Rp5.000 will be added to each booking that is paying via bank transfer. Movintix does not keep this fee and it is non-refundable.

Receiving and Using the E-ticket

The e-ticket will be sent to your email after you complete payment. See instructions from the event organizer whether the e-ticket is valid for entry or must be exchanged at the venue. Please print the e-ticket on A4-sized paper. Avoid publishing the ticket and QR code to prevent fraud.

Seat Selection

Ticket buyers are able to choose their seat number online if the event organizer choose to make that option available. This feature is only available for selected theatre venues. Events that do not allow this feature may allow free seating in each ticket class or allocate seats manually by the committee.

I Did Not Receive My E-Tickets

If somehow your have not received your e-tickets in your inbox/junk/spam folder please email us at info@movintix.com stating your name, booking code and payment proof if possible.

Can I cancel and refund the ticket(s) that I already purchased?

Please note that ticket(s) purchased can not be canceled or refunded, unless there has been a cancellation or reschedule of the event by the event organizer under unusual or force majeur conditions.

What happens when a show is canceled or postponed?

An announcement will be published by the event organizer; and all ticket holders will be emailed regarding refund instructions or other options.

I want to change my booking

Please note that ticket(s) purchased can not be canceled, refunded, moved, or exchanged, unless there has been a cancellation or reschedule of the event by the event organizer under unusual or force majeur conditions.

I cannot choose any section or seat or buttons not working
